Low self esteem

was wondering if there was anyone that is currently suffering with low self esteem...my question to you is where to begin on climbing out of that hole????

I have very low self esteem maybe to the point of not having any esteem... I dont have an answer to your question but at the end of september i'm taking a group called 10 weeks to self esteem. can answer ur question more when im doing the group

I have low self esteem off and on and have been told positive thinking is the trick but sometimes that is very hard. I need to develop a hobby. Also try to lean on God and pray He will dig you out of that hole. It won't happen right away but try to be patience which I can tell you from experience is very hard to do and another thing to do I think we can do is to love and support each other.

Thanks for posting that Jewell. It was very interesting. I have done better off and on since I thik more positive. We all go backward at times but if we keep driving forward we will eventually change our attitudes. When i first started changing was when i got sick and tired of being sick and tired. Im not well by any means as my friends can tell but im still working on it. Keep on keeping on.

i have now and as far as i remember have had low self esteem all my life i no nothing about it other then what it feels like and dont ever think theres a way away from it

I was once have a very low self-esteem, well until now I still don't believe I am cured. Let's just say, I am a better person. The key I think is knowing what you are and what you are not and accepting things that you can't change. If you know what will make you happy, then by all means, grab it.

It also happens to me. I kept on thinking negative things especially when I get to join some pageants and singing contest. I was so nervous and I tell myself, what was I thinking. Why am I joining these contests anyway? I am no match to those other girls. They are so good and pretty compared to me. I have nothing to show because I am not good. But then, my parents and relatives kept on supporting me and helped me to encourage myself. And I did. I had won contest because of their support. I think that is one good cure for low self esteem.
